Kasrils the biggest instigator
May 03 2007 at 04:05PM Kasrils invites Palestinian PM to SA
Gaza City, Gaza Strip - South Africa on Thursday invited Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas to visit, in what would be his first trip outside the Muslim world.Haniyeh would like to meet with former South African President Nelson Mandela during the trip, according to a Haniyeh aide. The invitation was issued by visiting Intelligence Minister Ronnie Kasrils, who met with Haniyeh."We stand by you and support you," Kasrils said of the new Palestinian unity government, a coalition of Hamas and the Fatah movement of moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Haniyeh accepted the invitation"We in South Africa look forward to you being able to lead a delegation to our country," Kasrils told Haniyeh at a joint news conference.Haniyeh accepted the invitation, but no date was set for a trip.Ahmed Yousef, Haniyeh's political adviser, said the prime minister would like to meet with Mandela.Another government official from Hamas, Mohammed Madhoun, told a pro-Hamas news website that Haniyeh planned to visit South Africa as a part of a tour to Malaysia, Indonesia and Turkey. Haniyeh may also informally visit Switzerland at the invitation of a civil society group, Madhoun said.Kasrils demanded that the international community lift its aid embargo on the Palestinian Authority, imposed after the militantly anti-Israel Hamas came to power in elections last year.
South African official's comments drew Israeli criticism"The people of Palestine are facing a collective punishment by those who were not happy with the result of a democratic election," he said. The sanctions were designed to pressure Hamas to recognize Israel, renounce violence and accept past agreements signed with the Jewish state. Hamas never met these demands, and the coalition government formed in March has not explicitly done so, either. But Kasrils said the South African government believed "the government of Mr Haniyeh and President Abbas have gone a long way to meeting those requirements as we understand them."South Africa has been an early supporter of the new Palestinian government. But the South African official's comments drew Israeli criticism. Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mark Regev said extending inviting leaders of a movement still pledged to Israel's destruction would "entrench extremist positions".Regev said the move gave "legitimacy and recognition to an unreformed extremist Hamas leadership". - Sapa-AP

This letter by "Darryl Lazarus" who incidentally does not exist incites quite harsh words like "illegal State of Israel"
I then wrote another letter which did not make it to the news but will get aired via my blog
In the warped mind of Darryll Lazarus(Cape Argus, 08 May 2007)he cites very harsh comments about events which take and took place in Israel. Why is he so against Israel? What does he mean that Israel is an illegal state? I am sure Mr Lazarus supports all anti-Israel resolutions brought on by the UN so why does he not support the resolution which was voted with a majority yes vote from the UN in 1948? If the Palestinians wanted a state of their own 1947 partition plan would have given them one, but instead the very next day 15 May 1948, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Arabs in Israel attacked Israel to try and conquer it, they were unsuccessful. In the next wars Israel managed to annex the Sinai peninsula, Parts of the Golan Heights, West Bank, Gaza and even parts of Lebanon. I find the Arabs sore losers as they started the wars and lost land and want it back so they can continue their agenda by trying to conquer Israel. Is it known that there are actually Arab members of parliment that were voted into the Knesset DEMOCRATICALLY and just a few weeks one of them left the country under suspicious circumstances and it so happens he was a spy for Hizbullah. Mr Lazarus how come you do not talk about the many suicide bombers caught everyday trying to kill innocent babies, children, adults, which they have done in the past? You give a very one sided approach to your half truths. Mr Lazarus did you see the "innocent children", the "1000's of Lebanese civilians" getting killed? if not you are basing everything on speculation and articles from journalists that have constant death threats just incase they write the truth and therefore how can your letter be trusted ? I would love to see peace just like everyone else but how can Israel just be willing and no one else? When the palestinians openly say they want to erase Israel from the globe or they say Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, Jerusalem will never be part of Israel. Wow this is so sincere of the palestians I now see they really do want peace. Mr Lazarus the real extremists and terrorists is definitely not Israel, but those countries rearming Hizbullah and Hamas which is in contavention of UN resolution 1701, incidently the UN is doing nothing to stop the rearming or to enforce the embargo. What about the Kassam rockets all 150 shot into Israel since the "ceasefire", just 2 days ago one landed a few metres away from a full kindergarten, another on a petrol station where someone was seriously injured, Let me guess Mr Lazarus you are totally against Israel taking out terrorists but it is fine for the terrorists to shoot at a kindergarten, as it is for a good cause. Using schools, Hospitals as weapon caches is that humane? Things like this I have seen with my own eyes. Incidently this same tactic is being used by Iran, building its reactors close to cities. This inhumane tactic of using women and children as human shields is to hopefully cause the conscience of the soldiers not to fight and get killed, the woman or child being used as a shield is dead if they accept and dead if they do not and no matter what Israel do the picture of the dead body will get to the news and someone like you, Mr Lazarus will interperet it the way the terrorists want you to, unless you actually know who you are dealing with and try to find a serious solution. Mr Lazarus by the wording of your reason for the past Lebanon war," Just because of one soldier" shows how much you think of the sanctity of life, and it is not just one soldier, it close to 10 POW's and almost 6 million Jews in Israel, which the terrorists and you do not care about. Just another reminder that Israel does not have an army it is known as the IDF, the Israeli DEFENSE Force. For the past 59 years all that Israel has been doing is defending itself from hostilities, do you realise that the state of palestine could be celebrating their 59th year of independence, but they chose the other path and you, Mr Lazarus and your supporters of these terrorists are in full support of them choosing that path, I have pity on you.
Mr Lazarus, all I can do is pray that you and all your friends like Kasrils, Zapiro and many others mend your ways because ultimately this way of thinking is going to bring your downfall.
Then what happened was that the letters were written by a "Daryll Z Lazarus" but still it is unknown if this guy actually exists, there is incidentally a Darrel Lazarus in Fresnaye different spelling and so on and so forth.
another letter sent to the argus yet again it was not published and here it is
In the letters from Daryll Z Lazarus, he cites many things like threats and facts and so on and so forth. The use of such harsh words, where did he get them from ? the way he puts it, Darrel was threatened with his life, which I can not believe. To Daryll Z Lazarus your facts in your letter are so distorted that you are convinced that they must be true because you read it somewhere, If I believed everything I read, the world would be such a great place, because the holocaust was invention, Iraq was never invaded, There is no crisis in Zimbabwe and the list goes on and on. All those wonderful terrorists that you support have said those things and written them in the newspapers, so they must be true. I find your letters to be hypocritical due to the fact that you are coming out and trying to mend so-called threats on a person that does not want to be associated with you, the same type of person you are talking about in your letters(the ones that cant take criticism). The way you compare your "freedom Fighters" to the palestinians is not valid as it is 2 countries and defined borders that are involved, the whites of Apartheid where South Africans and during WWII, it was Germans standing up against the nazis, but in Israel, palestinians are not Israelis, and Israelis are not palestinians so it is a totally different scenario and has no validity, when trying to compare the Arab-Israeli conflict which incorporates close to 15 Arab countries against 1 Israel whose size is smaller than the Kruger National Park, you can not compare this situation to any other countries as when last did you see 15 countries against one, or infact one religion against all others living in Israel. This is unheard of and nothing can be compared to it. I am full in support of criticism but when it is only one sided, hypocritical and has no first hand proof, I am sorry but silence should be the option.
more Ronnie Kasrils posts will be done tomorrow as the information I needed is on my computer at work
